Wasn't the season finale kick ass? I loved it! So many questions answered and so many new questions. I am so bummed now that new TV is over! What will I do without Lost for months??? I am posting this link Toby sent me a while back as its a good refresher tolast nights events. Also, check out Lostpedia http://timelooptheory.com//the_timeline.htm

Susie's Engagement

My friend, Susie Pie just got engaged last night and it's totally because of me!! Well, not the engagement part but she met her soon to be hubby at my bacherlotte party in Las Vegas last year! Yep, while me and the girls were whupping it up, Susie Pie and Kitty Kat ran into this team of hockey players and ended up partying it up on this party bus they had rented to haul the hockey team around in. It was the total talk of the bacherlotte party the next morning. Sus and this guy continued to call each other all weekend and we totally teased her that maybe next year we would be coming back for her bacherlotte party. Well, the hockey player turned out to be a pilot in the Air Force who lived in Florida so none of knew how that would work out but Sus surprised us all and kept flying to Florida months after the Vegas trip and he would fly to LA. The hub and I would visit with Sus and her Top Gun throughout the year whenever he was in town. They were cute together and it was n

Week Nights in Review

Mon: Monday Nights are grocery night. Love the new grocery store Fresh and Easy and their $5.00 off coupons. Tue: Watched "American Idol" Performance show. Freaked out that the wrong David would win. Wed Part 1: Went to the movies. Movie Watcher Wednesday's = free popcorn. Saw "Baby Mama." Pretty good flick. Tina Fey is funny! Wed Part 2: Got home after the movie to find replay had missed recording "American Idol." It recorded the stupid Lost rerun! Shit! So about 30 minutes before the ending is where I came in. So glad that David Cook won "American Idol!!!!" That made me happy. I was kinda scared that the other David would win because Simon kept saying he was the best on performance night. Thurs: Went to BJ's for dinner. Meet up with Krueger, who just got back from New York. She worked on the "Survivor" finale. Not the show but the live finale show. Apparently she has been working the finale's for sever

Happy Birthday Jon & Jeff

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY TWO FAVORITE GEMINI's HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

I Saw It

...and the verdict is.....that it is good! Totally enjoyed the fourth film and it does stay true to the franchise. Yes, he's a bit older now but the film was charming and action packed. Still a good time and a popcorn flick. It was like seeing an old friend after a long time. After seeing this I want another one! There is jsut something about the character that makes you scream for more.

Duex Birthday Parties

This week two dear friends of Brokencandy celebrate their b-days. Normally they each have a big birthday bashes on the same Saturday Night each year. But this time around El Jefe had his birthday first which made me so happy because two birthdays epecially when they are good friends on the same night is hard to do! Friday night Brian and I went to Beverly Hills to the Tower Hotel Bar to celebrate Jeff 3.0. As you know Jeff is a man of many jobs and he had just recently worked at the hotel's bar as a bartender so he decided to have his party at his old place which was a good choice. The place wasn't crowded and it was cool just to sit in bar scene and actually hear the conversations around you. We were the first to arrive. Luckily Brian got a ride to my work from a co-worker and then we could go directly to the party which is why we arrived so early. It was good though because I got to catch up with Jeff for a little bit before all his friends showed up. It was nice to see

Welcome to the Real World

A big congrats to Milissa, the Hub's cousin, who graduates from Fresno State this week! Now it's nothing but work, work, work for you missy. Welcome to bills, bills, bills and working to pay them!

American Idol

American Idol has been on for years so maybe none of you cares who wins but for lack of any TV to watch the hub and I have watched the entire 7th season of American Idol this time around. Last season I was lucky enough to go to a live taping. It was the Bon Jovi night and to be there in the audience while everyone is performing is really such a cool experience. I have been to many TV tapings before but going to a live TV taping such as American Idol or The Tonight Show is much more fun because you are done in an hour and usually people are all pumped up. Once I went to a Friends taping (the one were the boys fall asleep on the couch together) and it took at least 8 hours to shoot. At the time I thought the show would be a breeze because Friends was such a hit, I'd figure they were pro's, but nope, I left after 8 hours because it was so cold in the studio. They taped on after I left! Anyhoo, this season of American Idol has had some really good singers. At first it was

For All of You LOST Fans

I don't know about you but LOST is getting really good. I wish it was on every week all year long! The hub and I loved the John-Hurley-Ben trio in last night's episode. Plus all the flash forwards this season. I can't wait to see what happens. Here is an article for you to enjoy. Remaining "Lost" seasons extended by two hours By James Hibberd ABC has found more hours for the final two seasons of "Lost." The 2009 and 2010 editions of the hit drama will be 17 hours each -- not 16, as previously planned. ABC has added two hours to the show's production plan because the Writers Guild of America strike knocked three hours out of the current season. To partly compensate, the network recently added an additional hour to Part 2 of the season finale that airs May 29.All told, the changes will wrap up the show with the same number of episodes that producers and ABC negotiated last year. "We were supposed to do 16-16-16," "Lost" co-cre

The Facts of Life

You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have The Facts of Life, the Facts of Life. When I was in the car driving to work the other day I was listening to an interview with Madonna on the radio. The Material Girl said something that made me think. She said she didn't think there was evil in the world. The way she saw it the bad things in life make way for good things or lessons learned. In a way, this made sense to me. Looking at my life, good has come out of bad things. I think in a weird way having gone through bad things makes you appreciate the good things. In the breaking his foot last week I was like "Crap, I have to take him to work and pick him up everyday?" But I am finding I like taking him to work in the morning because I get to spend more time with him. The car ride is fun and in the morning it really only adds on 10 minutes to my commute and I get to take a new route to work that actually moves and doesn't involve sitt
