For the past year, hub has been working non-stop so we thought we would give him a mini vacay at his favorite place, Disneyland. So I splurged and booked a stay at the Disneyland Hotel. Penny and I sent down a day early and spent the day at the hotel poolside where we ordered drinks (hers a smoothy) and lunch and also, zipped down the monorail waterslides. We arrived before noon, checked in and managed to score an upgrade of the pool view. P and I had a fun day lounging in the sun, relaxing in our room and having dinner at Downtown Disney. We even managed to Build-a-Bear (okay, well a My Little Pony unicorn) and looked at all the latest merchandise at the big Disney World of Wonder store. Dad took a train down since we took the car but unfortunately for him the train was originally delayed and then took forever at Union Station in Downtown.
