Happy Friday!

To say that Penny loves Nutella is an understatement. A Big understatement. The girl goes through huge Costco Nutella jars like there is no tomorrow. That and bacon.

I'm Trapped

It's 4am and I'm currently trapped in Penny's twin bed with one foot covering my stomach to ensure I don't leave. It's cold and girl refuses use any kind of covering. I'm slowly being smothered by Disneyland stuff animals. I can't sleep because there are night lights everywhere. The worse part, she's a heavy breather.

Here "Kitty, Kitty"

Penny and I have been playing with this small kitty (no collar) who comes to our yard every couple days. It's the sweetest thing. It's just looking for attention and food I assume cuz she's skinny. I posted on our neighborhood board about the cat roaming around as I was concerned it was a lost pet and was emailed privately by some people saying that the owners could care less about the cat(s) and the two cats roam everywhere. What would be the right thing to do about this cat? It's sounds like the neighbors have gotten on the owners but they refused to care for these two lost animals. Should I let it roam. Should I call someone? Is it wrong to feed it it. We like this kitty and want her to be cared for.

Exciting Weekend

Man, this weekend went by too fast! Fun filled with celebrations and friends. Today we got two surprise visitors. First a visit from our favorite kitty and then Steve Rusca aka NoNo aka Grandpa showed up at our door and made Penny's day! To top off our weekend we went to the Kid Space Halloween Festival. We had so much fun we forgot to get our pumpkins. Guess we will have to go to another pumpkin patch. Oh well! On to the EXCITING week ahead! What will happen this week?

Piglets

My friend Daos likes to call her two labradors Piglets so here are my two kids as piglets.

Throw Back Crazy

every week it is expected on Facebook to post a picture hailing back to one's earlier existence in the world. So here is my picture for the week. It hails from 2004 and features my best buds. McMurphy's in Pasadena.

Throw Back Thursday

Looking forward to seeing my family in a few weeks for Thanksgiving! Here is a picture of me and bro when we lived in Holt, Michigan.

Happy Birthday Jung!

I can't believe that I am almost 40 and that my friends are turning 40. Where has the time gone. I was talking with my friend Jung at dinner last night and we both agreed we don't feel 40. Cuz, 40 is how old our parents are right? Wrong, it's how old we are now! Had a fun dinner outing with part of the 81st Street Gang. Jung birthday is Tuesday this week so we thought we would take him out to dinner at an all you can eat Brazilian joint. Everyone got their meat on! Well, half of us did and the other half got the salad bar on! Here are some pics from the evening. When it came time for cake, Miss Penny stole some of the birthday boy's cake! Oh Penny!

Candy Haul

I'm not sure this picture accurately shows how much candy we got from trick or treating at Disneyland but it was a TON!!! It sure was fun collecting it. Now to keep it out of sight so I don't eat it all.

Because We Can't Get Enough Disney

This morning we went to a screening of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day at the El Capitan Theatre. My old manager, at the studio has some hook ups at Disney International and got us into the screening. I wasn't sure how Penny would behave as she has only seen animated films there and not live action but she did do pretty well aka no tantrums. The film was actually pretty good too. I wasn't expecting too much but it was a fun kid's movie. After the show, we stopped in to Ghiradelli and got some of their "Oh so delicious Mint Chocolate chip ice cream."

October 4, 2013 was the date of my last paycheck at a place my idol, Sherry, once ran. I was crushed to be shown the door but looking back a year later, I can say with confidence...Sometimes you need to be shown the door to find happiness you didn't even know existed behind other doors.

Disneyland Catch Up

"FRIENDS" 17 years ago this October, I moved to Los Angeles from my small town in Michigan. The first person I hung out with and who trained me when I was hired at AMC was none other than Boelman aka The Mayor of Westwood! This weekend, "my first LA friend" along with our families caught up at Disneyland for the Halloween Party. It was so cool to catch up with him and to meet two of his five kids. his two little girls, Nic and Maya were absolutely lovely and so awesome with Penny. Penny keeps mentioning she wants to go back to Disneyland to see her friends.

Big Boobie

So Toby is in Hong Kong and look what he found! My favorite dim sum dessert and I thought the one's in SF's Chinatown were large. This one is obscenely large!

Hello Penny!

Hello Kitty has claimed it's next victim
