I am so full

I swear to God I am never going to lose any weight! It seems all I do is eat out. But that is the very nature of living in a busy city and socializing. This week I went to two dinners after work. The first was to catch up with my old roomie, Caroline and our old friend, Toby. We met at Mike and Anne's in South Pasadena. I had never been there before the but besides having good food the place had plenty of outdoor seating so Moses was able to come to dinner. I really like being able to bring my "son" with me. In talking with Caroline, it would seem she has quite a few people in her life getting married. The two that I knew were Sarah and Cindy. Sarah, whom I know through Caroline and Cindy's game nights got engaged over the holiday and is getting married next month (her brother is going overseas) and then our friend and fellow Vegas lady, Cindy was engaged over President's Day Weekend. I refrained from asking her when she was getting married, as it&#

My 4th Wedding Anniversary

I can hardly believe it was only 4 years ago, that I was with my family and friends in Maui celebrating my wedding to the most amazing man who ever walked the earth! Seems just like yesterday. But that is the thing with time it never stops. It just keeps on going and going. Since hubby has to work on our actual day of wedded bliss (today the 13th), we celebrated our anniversary at Disneyland yesterday. I know, shocker. My friend is a member of Club 33. He has been very nice over the years to hook me up with entry. Hubby and I were trying to figure out how many times we have been during the car ride to Anaheim. Here is the list we came up with: First: Caroline, Mike, hubby & I - occassion Caroline's Birthday - 2004 - Dinner Second: Caroline, Mike, Toby, Jon, Jung, hubby and I - Caroline's birthday 2005 - Dinner Third: Matt, Judith, hubby & I - Judith's Welcome to America 2006 - Dinner Fourth: Mom, Dad, hubby, & I - 2007 (

My First Vinylmation Trading Event

After a really long and busy week at work, I left the office at 5pm to drive to Orange County to go to my first Disney Vinylmation Trade Event at Downtown Disney. It took an hour and a half in the car but I got there in front of the store at 8pm. The event ended at 9pm so for a while there I was thinking I had driven to the OC for nothing but alas I arrived (hubby was coming behind me in his own car) and I had no idea what to do. So I started talking to people. Traders had all their extras beautifully displayed in little plastic bags. Mine were all jumbled inside a big canvas bag. The first lady I talked too basically wouldn't trade anything. Well, it was hard to trade with her because she had everything so there wasn't anything I had she could trade. She was basically looking for some really rare stuff. So I moved down the line and ended up talking to the guy who set up the event. I traded 3 vinyls for a Woody and another chaser. I kept moving down the line

TailSpin

Disney announced that they were making Vinylmations of Afternoon Classics such as Tail Spin, Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers, etc. Instead of coming in a set of 12, Disney is selling them in sets of 2 with limited editions of 1000 each. Well, we heard that Tail Spin was going to be released online on March 2 so we stayed up until 12:30am on he evening of March 1st, as that is the time Disney updates the stock at Disneystore.com, hoping to get a set. Apparently people all over the US were waiting according to the forums on vinylmation.net which hubby is a member of. I am just glad I wasn't the guy in Florida waiting at 3:30am!! Anyhow, for some reason the site never listed the product and people were pissed. The next day we all found out that Disney had originally advertised them at $24.95 a set and wanted to get an extra $2 bucks out of the deal and spent all night updating the internet. The new price when they finally listed the product at around 11am Pacific time on March 2

Disneyland Hong Kong Vinylmation

Disney Vinylmation is so big, they even have it Hong Kong! Disneyland Hong Kong does have some vinyls that the US does not. Below are the 3 pictures. We just so happen to have a friend, Toby, who knows a couple of people in Hong Kong, who are getting us these vinyls. And I just so happen to have a shipping company at work with an office in Hong Kong and they will be shipping my vinyls back for me at a discount. I love the worldwide networking web!!!! Anyhow, in a month we will be proud owners of these three Disneyland exclusives!
