So, I finally decided to go home after 7 years of being away. I'm not sure why I was away for so long but I was. Over Thanksgiving Penny and I headed to Michigan. It was the first time being away from hubby for a holiday but I needed to return home and he had to work. I was hoping he would get the week off but this year was rare one in that he had to get a show out so no extra days for him. It was nice to return home and visit with my parents, my brother and his family, my grandma and other family members and some friends I hadn't seen in a long while. We landed to snow and I made the mistake of putting our winter coats in our luggage which the airline lost!!! So our first taste of Michigan was a bitter cold one.
