This week the multi-state Mega Millions Lottery got up to $375M dollars and had a lot of people dreaming and wondering what if? I know I was one of those people. What would it be like to suddenly find yourself with millions upon millions of dollars ? What would you do with it? Would you help people? Help your family? It’s funny but next to every one of those huge jackpot stories there is another story that outlines bankruptcy. Such was the case this week. Under the story about the 2 people who won the $375M pot there was a research story about how people who win a million or more in lotteries end up going bankrupt 3-5 years after winning. I am thinking are those people plain crazy? Secondly, what are they spending the money on? Anyhow, with all this lottery talk it got me thinking about what I would spend money on.
