Another One Off The Market

This morning, I'm very happy for my friends, Loo Dog (Lisa) and Tim who were engaged in Kona, Hawaii this past weekend!!! Yay! 4 bridesmaids down (as in married or engaged) and 1 to go (although its gonna be really hard to get Krueger married off unless one of those romance novel guys comes to life! I helped Tim get the ring size with an elaborate story. In the end, he did what I told him to do in the first place and stole a ring from her room. Ha Ha! Well, regardless, another good friend is gonna be married and I am so very happy for them! Can I dare hope they get married in Hawaii so this Hawaiian loving' Momma can go back?

Maui Waui!

Everyone has been asking how Maui was and I am hear to tell you that our 3rd trip to paradise was awesome! I thought perhaps we would relax more but we ended up being pretty busy. Here is a breakdown of our 6 days in Maui. I think the next trip will be a couple's retreat one. Yes, I will try and plan a friends trip and try to rent a big ole house. Had so many people who said I wish we could go with you that it made me think, well why not? So clear your calenders for sometime soon! Sunday Arrive late in the afternoon Check into the bed and breakfast place called THE PLANTATION INN Note: We had previously stayed at this 19 room inn on our wedding night in the big suite. Headed immediately to ALOHA MIXED PLATE our favorite local joint for some cocktails and dinner Hot tub time machine time in the inn's hot tub Monday Went on a 3 hour WILD DOLPHIN EXCURSION with the PACIFIC WHALE FOUNDATION where we totally lucked out and saw 3 different types of dolphins including the fake...

Geocahing in Hawaii

We are so bummed Moses can't come with us to Hawaii so hubby made this Moses cache we are going to take with us and hopefully our Moses will get to travel the islands more than we do!!

17 Days Til Maui!

So I just booked a 5 line zipline tour for hubby and me in Maui. And I also made reservations at a new restaurant (well to us), called Merriman's on the ocean. YELP has been such a big help to me on this trip. Even though this will be our 3rd trip to Maui there is still a ton of stuff we haven't done. And according to YELP there are so many good places to eat that we just won't have the time to try them all! So two reservations down, what is next? I am currently debating whether to splurge some more and make spa appointments at The Grand Wailea Spa, which according to Travel Magazine, is THEE best spa in the world! I might just have to go and drag that hubby with me for a couples message on the ocean! Can I also say, that American Express points are awesome! Just got a free rental car with hubby's points. Sweet!
