We are constantly busy our our good buddy Moses, doesn't get to go with us too much so we decided to have a Moses Day where we completely dedicated our day to fun things Moses likes. His number one thing is to take rides in the car. So we took a long car ride down to Long Beach and went to Rosie's Dog Beach, an off-leash dog beach where dogs can roam free. Moses must be getting on in years because he didn't want to tun around as much as housed to. This made me a bit sad but at the same time, I didn't want to get in the water too (I know I am getting on in years). I laid on the beach while Daddy and P played. Moses after taking a dip in the water came by me and we snuggled on our beach blanket. It was so nice to soak up the sun and be near my good buddy. The other two Musketeers came back and we took this picture. After the beach we went to a dog friendly restaurant where Moses had his own water and bits of bacon and pancakes and then we took him next door to a a doggie spa. They were full so we had to do the self wash and I think Moses preferred us washing him as he had a big ole goobery smile on his face.
As a little girl I would look on my mom’s arm and wonder why she had such a weird mark near her shoulder. A few days ago, as the warm solution penetrated my bloodstream, I started to cry remembering my mom’s mark. The nurse asked me if I was okay and I told her I was so incredibly happy. As a diabetic I was stressed never knowing if I was doing enough to avoid it but also, keeping some semblance of life in doing outdoor things. I cried because I am incredibly grateful to the SCIENCE that made this possible in only a year. Less time for me to worry about my only kiddo should the worse happen. If ur on the fence...I’ve worked in entertainment for over 20 years and I’ve seen first hand how easy celebrities influence the public. Some do good and others well...I’m happy to have a little bit of the gracious Dolly Parton with me. Scientists on the other hand, very rarely get the recognition for their years of study, years of research and expertise contributing to (wo)mankind....
