The fun thing about remodeling is all the different things you could do. You get to pick and choose new stuff that is to your taste and not something that was there when you bought it or inherited it. This weekend our contractor gave us the home work assignment of finding a new front door. So we went to a local door shop and looked at a variety of doors. We left the shop pretty confident of what we wanted and settled on a door before we even got home. Here is the door we settled on.
So this morning we go to place our order with the very nice man who helped us and guess what? They don't make the door anymore. So that left us with our second choice.
Hubby's second choice was retro.

I really didn't think the retro door would work on our house so I insisted on picking my second choice.

It was a crazy Monday morning going back and forth on e-mail and text but I think hubby and I finally placed our order. I hope it all looks good.
When I was going to Michigan State University, my friends and I would always go to BW3's for hot wings. They always had a variety of flavored wings from Honey BBQ to steaming hot, hot, death wings. Wings and a beer were just the thing to satisfy a busy student's appetite. When we frequented BW3's it was a dive bar but by the time my brother graduated from MSU they swapped locations for a building across the street and turned the name to Buffalo Wild Wings and the restaurant became more like a chain thing. Well, color me shocked the other day when we went to the movies and I saw a Buffalo Wild Wings being built in the AMC Burbank 16 complex. Apparently, after looking on their website they are one of the fastest top 10 chains in the US. So of course I had to introduce the hubby to one of my favorite college treats.
