Moses' training of Penny is almost complete, it would seem. Penny has taken to eating her food like a dog. If it wasn't so funny to watch, I'd be concerned. She loves placing food on the floor or the table and then bobbing her head like Moses' does to lick up her food by her tongue. It is in a word, hilarious.
Penny hasn't quite learned Moses' name but she definitely has assigned a word to Moses. She calls him and other dogs "Bob." Hubby and I have started referring to Moses as Bob as well. Not too sure he likes that.
Penny absolutely loves to lay in Moses' bed and she loves to play with his toys. She also much to hubby and I's dislike, Penny enjoys playing in Moses' water bowl. (What a mess!) Even though we repeatedly say "NO" I think she takes it as a personal challenge to be devilish. What I laugh at is that we say No and she smiles back, stops and then proceeds to the water bowl as if nothing had happened.
Moses loves playing with her toys too. I am not quite sure anymore who is the dog and who is the baby? haha.
As a little girl I would look on my mom’s arm and wonder why she had such a weird mark near her shoulder. A few days ago, as the warm solution penetrated my bloodstream, I started to cry remembering my mom’s mark. The nurse asked me if I was okay and I told her I was so incredibly happy. As a diabetic I was stressed never knowing if I was doing enough to avoid it but also, keeping some semblance of life in doing outdoor things. I cried because I am incredibly grateful to the SCIENCE that made this possible in only a year. Less time for me to worry about my only kiddo should the worse happen. If ur on the fence...I’ve worked in entertainment for over 20 years and I’ve seen first hand how easy celebrities influence the public. Some do good and others well...I’m happy to have a little bit of the gracious Dolly Parton with me. Scientists on the other hand, very rarely get the recognition for their years of study, years of research and expertise contributing to (wo)mankind....
