Water Bowl
Earlier this week I happened to notice my dog's butt sticking out of our Christmas Tree. Seems he thought the tree's water bowl was his new water bowl. Pine scented water anyone?
As The World Turns
Earlier this week my husband, who is quite often forced to watch soap operas...well, forced is a strong word. He happens to be sitting on the couch when I watch them....says to me "Would you start watching another soap opera if yours got canceled?" I said "No, I have been watching my two shows for 21 years. Why would I watch a new one when I am so invested in these old ones?" He basically concluded that the only way he would get out of watching my shows was if they got cancelled. Skip ahead two days...when he sends me a link to a story via Facebook announcing the cancelation of my soap opera, As The World Turns in September 2010. His comment: "One down. I think I have a some sort of super power." Alluding that his previous conversation with me had somehow gotten one of my soap operas cancelled. It sure was a weird coinincidence. I am completely bummed.
Chase Auto Financing
Earlier this week I was balancing my checking account and noticed that Chase Auto Financing had debted my bank account for my monthly car payment. Normally this wouldn't have been a problem if only I hadn't paid off my car last month. Of course I called and asked why? Their response, "Oh, you still had your account marked to auto payments." I responded, "But I paid off my car. Can you cancel that feature?" They responded, "No you have to go online." Then I told them exactly what I thought of this silyl idea and alluded that they had a nice scam going stealing people's money. I mean they took my money and they want me to go online to fix it?? Furthermore, I paid off my car where does that give them the right to kept debting my account just because I clicked a button. One would think when your done paying they can't take anymore money from you. The other thing that bothered me was I was talking to someone on the phone who I am sure could have fixed my request yet they directed me to go online? Anyhow, I got it all sorted but beware, if I hadn't balanced my account who knew how long it would have gone on?
