So if you are a reader of this blog, you can now leave a comment should you like. I didn't even know it was hard to leave a comment cuz, I wasn't sure anyone read this other than my dad (hi dad!). But alas, this weekend someone called the hubby and asked about the comments and why they didn't work. Technically the setting was on but it was on some weird setting where you pretty much had to give blood in order to leave a note.

Anyhoo, the comments are on until the robots start finding me. If you want to leave me (a.k.a. cutie pie/lollipop) or the hub a message you can. If you have any advise on how to get rid of barking, pain in the ass dogs leave that too. Tonight the hub brought home some super duper ear plugs that are supposed to block out 33 decibels. I guess we'll see how many decibels that dog is tonight.

A few people have emailed me about what to do for dogs and I have been meaning to write back but alas, work is super crazy. Tonight has been the first night in several weeks where I haven't gone direct for the couch. We have been preparing for this huge, big, super crazy convention (which starts next Monday) and delegates from 60 countries are flying in to see our 2008 line up. Suffice to say, I have been working a ton and next week will be even more. What sucks is that I am supposed to have Presidents Day off but due to the convention I don't anymore. I called HR just to check what a gal was to do when they worked on a company holiday and they said you get paid double time. Well, you can be sure I informed all of my employees and sent them a reminder to make sure to fill out their time card right. Take that THE MAN.

Yesterday, knowing I had a tough two weeks ahead of me I made a pit stop at Burke Williams. I even took the hubby along with me. It brings sheer joy to my face to take a friend to my little place of heaven. The hub's appt was at 11AM and mine was at noon so we passed each other in the lounge. He looked so relaxed and that made me happy. I love the spa. I like going to a place that can transform you in an hour. I love the cucumbers on the eyes and the yummy fruit you can eat while sitting in the warm water. I love the steam room and then the misting room. Its just great. But today, I hurt but at least for 4 hours I was at peace and that is something to cherish.

I may have missed it,but did you go over to the house behind you and speak with the neighbor about the dogs? I know it may be a bit awkard but it's worth a try. How about having a bbq or something and invite all the neighbors around your home even the dog ones, then bring it up to them.
love the blog

I hadn't gone over to the house yet. The set up of my street and the dog barking street is weird. I can't walk to their house from behind mine behind because there are 10 ft walls blocking me. Also the street behind our house is not easily found. You get to it from an off shoot of an off shoot of another road. It's actually really hard to find my neighbors (cuz we just moved and didn't know the area.) However, this weekend we did do some exploring and we think we found the house! They weren't home but we hope to try again.

Behind Door Number One

Have you ever watched those TV Game shows where they have a couple of doors and behind one is a grand prize? Well, this weekend the hub and I found out what was behind our Door #1. The hubby and I are starting the beginning phases of landscaping our backyard. Our first step, was to clean out the area behind our garage. When we moved in, there was about 2 feet of walking space behind our garage the rest of the area was covered in vines. Vines were growing on the roof and generally it was a mess. Not wanting the vines to take over the roof, we I started to clear out the vines last fall. But after we cut a million vines with only a pair of clippers we gave up and decided to clean out the rest in the spring. Spring came around and we didn't do much until one day when I was sick a few weeks ago, I ran into our gardener. I showed him the mess and asked if he knew of anyone who could come clean it out. I could tell he was actually, quite happy for me to broach the subject of
