A lot of people ask me if I would like to be a stay at home mom and my response is "Baby Girl might get bored with me." Baby Girl's daycare has so many activities to keep the children entertained. I am not sure I could replicate that all by myself. This past week was the "Week of the Young Child." The daycare brought in musicians, a police car and a fire truck (so that the children get to know first responders) and a ton of other activities. But the activity that Baby Girl enjoyed the most was the "Animal Trainer Day." The school had an animal trainer come visit with 20 different animals. Apparently, my girl was the only infant who got up close and personal with each and every animal. She particularly liked the very large iguana. I was told that Baby Girl tried to grab his tongue each time he stuck it out and that was a lot! The picture above is from this week's infant walk. This is the second to last walk for Baby Girl who transitions over to the big girl room mid-May.

The hubby and I are starting the beginning phases of landscaping our backyard. Our first step, was to clean out the area behind our garage. When we moved in, there was about 2 feet of walking space behind our garage the rest of the area was covered in vines. Vines were growing on the roof and generally it was a mess. Spring came around and we didn't do much until one day when I was sick a few weeks ago, I ran into our gardener. I showed him the mess and asked if he knew of anyone who could come clean it out. I could tell he was actually, quite happy for me to broach the subject of
