While my parents were in town recently, some friends suggested that we visit the race track. well, it just so happened that the next day was the Closing Day of the year so we hoped in the car and headed on over to check things out. Hubby and i hadn't been there in many years and it was all new to Baby Girl. Since she is fascinated with all things animals at this this stage of her development, we thought she might enjoy seeing the horses. We were right! She loved the whole experience! Here are some photos.

As a diabetic I was stressed never knowing if I was doing enough to avoid it but also, keeping some semblance of life in doing outdoor things. I cried because I am incredibly grateful to the SCIENCE that made this possible in only a year. Less time for me to worry about my only kiddo should the worse happen.
