The remodeling of our kitchen is coming to a close, hopefully, this week! All the cabinets, appliances, flooring and lights are in, today they are installing blue-green aka "Lecente Ceilo" backsplash tile under the cabinets and near the stove to finish off the look. Then there is a lot of touching up to do as well and of course the ever difficult, wainscotting. I am looking forward to having my house back to myself again. So is Moses. I've ordered some bar stools and I found a great place online to buy some curtains. Then its all about moving everything back into the kitchen and finding a new home for everything. I wonder if I remember how to cook? Since Baby girl's birth there hasn't been a lot of meal cooking going on. Time to get back to a nighttime schedule! Just grateful we are able to make this change to our home to make it more comfortable.

But after we cut a million vines with only a pair of clippers we gave up and decided to clean out the rest in the spring. Spring came around and we didn't do much until one day when I was sick a few weeks ago, I ran into our gardener. I showed him the mess and asked if he knew of anyone who could come clean it out. I could tell he was actually, quite happy for me to broach the subject of
