Boba is the best! I just love the drink and frankly, milk has never been so fun to drink. Even though I am eager to try new flavors and go into the shop intending to get something new, I always, pretty much, end up with the same drink over and over (Almond Milk or Lavendar Tea). But I guess that is okay, cuz, I love Boba! Most of the Boba shops in Glendale had closed so I was hard pressed to find Boba close to home, unless we drove to ChinaTown. And who wants to go to ChinaTown when parking is a pain in the you-know-what? So imagine my delight when I found out a new Boba shop opened up in Atwater Village, practically, a hop, skip and a jump from my house. I only just found out about it and I have already been there twice in two weeks. If was thinking I probably should have gotten extra drinks for this week. In fact, I am craving Boba as I type.
When I was going to Michigan State University, my friends and I would always go to BW3's for hot wings. They always had a variety of flavored wings from Honey BBQ to steaming hot, hot, death wings. Wings and a beer were just the thing to satisfy a busy student's appetite. When we frequented BW3's it was a dive bar but by the time my brother graduated from MSU they swapped locations for a building across the street and turned the name to Buffalo Wild Wings and the restaurant became more like a chain thing. Well, color me shocked the other day when we went to the movies and I saw a Buffalo Wild Wings being built in the AMC Burbank 16 complex. Apparently, after looking on their website they are one of the fastest top 10 chains in the US. So of course I had to introduce the hubby to one of my favorite college treats.
