This Week's Craving

Without a fail the women on the forum talk about food constantly. For instance, this weekend I had to have an Italian sandwich with Italian dressing because this lady mentioned on the site that she has been drinking Italian dressing. Well, I hope not drinking but I took her comment to mean she has had a lot of it! After the Italian thing I have moved back to sweet cravings.....This one woman wrote she was making chocolate covered pretzels and now for the life of me I can't get the thought of eating a bag of chocolate covered pretzels out of my head!!! Usually cravings start with an idea and then they are supported by images. For instance, the pretzel thing I already had in my head from Disney World when I saw little kids eating those huge chocolate covered pretzels. Then I went to Disneyland and again I saw another kids eating a pretzel. Then I read about the lady making them. Now I can't get them out of my mind. I am on the hunt for chocolate covered pretzels and its proving to be difficult. Or maybe subconsciously I am taking my time in trying to find them, cuz really, my tummy doesn't need a bag of chocolate covered pretzels added to its expanding ball like structure. But maybe one gigantic one would be nice. But I have to find a candy store and so far it's been hard.

So, we can get them when we go to Disneyland soon, Lollipop? It won't be long now...also can't wait to find out if there is a little boy or girl in there! So exciting!

Behind Door Number One

Have you ever watched those TV Game shows where they have a couple of doors and behind one is a grand prize? Well, this weekend the hub and I found out what was behind our Door #1. The hubby and I are starting the beginning phases of landscaping our backyard. Our first step, was to clean out the area behind our garage. When we moved in, there was about 2 feet of walking space behind our garage the rest of the area was covered in vines. Vines were growing on the roof and generally it was a mess. Not wanting the vines to take over the roof, we I started to clear out the vines last fall. But after we cut a million vines with only a pair of clippers we gave up and decided to clean out the rest in the spring. Spring came around and we didn't do much until one day when I was sick a few weeks ago, I ran into our gardener. I showed him the mess and asked if he knew of anyone who could come clean it out. Surfing Goat Diary

We left the store and headed to the Surfing Goat Diary, again, this was a second trip for us but what was different this time is that we scheduled an hour long tour. Last time we arrive right before closing and were rushed. We spent a fair amount of time there exploring before the tour. We tried their cheesecake, we met the cats and dogs that roamed the place, we played in the playground, we pet and fed the baby goats that were penned up, and pursued the little store. Penny was eager to get her hands on the chocolate goat milk truffles. I must admit they did look good. I had my eyes on a t-shirt and a mug. Our tour started at 3:30pm that day and we met all the goats and learned all about the farm. But the most exciting part of the tour was getting the opportunity to milk the goats. 7th Birthday

Mark ur calendars, Dec 12 is an awesome day to go to Disneyland! There was no one at the park yesterday morning. We had 3 amazing hours 8am to 11am to ride! Some Disneyland records we set yesterday:  ✅A After many years, we finally got a wristband (and bought) a giant Disneyland candy cane.  ✅F First people on pirates of the carribean.  ✅ Line for Indiana Jones was 10 minutes long  😳  This never happens and we sat next to the people (strangers) who sat next to us on pirates b ut we did not walk over to the ride with them. ✅ By a fluke, we were also the first people on Big Thunder Mountain and kiddo rode in the cart by herself! (They opened late and we were in the right spot) ✅Kiddo  rode front seat on Matterhorn because a kind guy, his first visit, said he was too tall to sit in front and she wouldn’t be able to see sitting behind him ✅ Prode space mountain for the first time and huffed that it wasn’t scary and it was no IncrediCoaster.
