Double Celebration

Tonight, we not only celebrated the hubby's big birthday but we celebrated our friend's 20th Wedding Anniversary too. I had seen my friend at work yesterday when he stopped by and I asked him what he and his wife were doing for the big celebration. He said they may go out. I told him about our dinner and asked if he wanted to tag along and him and the wife agreed. So that is how we got to celebrate a wedding anniversary with our birthday.

It's hard to imagine friends our age who have been together for 20 years but it looks like we have one set of friends who fit just that distinction. Who are these people you ask? They are no other than the Forsgren's, whom were married when they were 18 and 20 years old. As if that isn't amazing enough in this day and age, they married after only knowing each other for 6 months.

The four of us went to Ruth Chris Steak House for dinner to celebrate. Ruth Chris is known for their 500 degree buttery cooked steaks that are ooh ooh good! Ruth Chris is pretty good about asking you if you have any special occasions when you call to make reservations and so of course I said, yes, we have two. When we arrived at our table there were cards and beads that outlined our celebrations and then our waiter made a big deal. After enjoying our second great meal at Ruth Chris our waiter brought out some free dessert which we all enjoyed.

As a little girl I would look on my mom’s arm and wonder why she had such a weird mark near her shoulder. A few days ago, as the warm solution penetrated my bloodstream, I started to cry remembering my mom’s mark. The nurse asked me if I was okay and I told her I was so incredibly happy. Surfing Goat Diary

We left the store and headed to the Surfing Goat Diary, again, this was a second trip for us but what was different this time is that we scheduled an hour long tour. Last time we arrive right before closing and were rushed. We spent a fair amount of time there exploring before the tour. We tried their cheesecake, we met the cats and dogs that roamed the place, we played in the playground, we pet and fed the baby goats that were penned up, and pursued the little store. Penny was eager to get her hands on the chocolate goat milk truffles. I must admit they did look good. I had my eyes on a t-shirt and a mug. Our tour started at 3:30pm that day and we met all the goats and learned all about the farm. But the most exciting part of the tour was getting the opportunity to milk the goats. 7th Birthday

Mark ur calendars, Dec 12 is an awesome day to go to Disneyland! There was no one at the park yesterday morning. We had 3 amazing hours 8am to 11am to ride! Some Disneyland records we set yesterday:  ✅A After many years, we finally got a wristband (and bought) a giant Disneyland candy cane.  ✅F First people on pirates of the carribean.  ✅ Line for Indiana Jones was 10 minutes long  😳  This never happens and we sat next to the people (strangers) who sat next to us on pirates b ut we did not walk over to the ride with them. ✅ By a fluke, we were also the first people on Big Thunder Mountain and kiddo rode in the cart by herself! (They opened late and we were in the right spot) ✅Kiddo  rode front seat on Matterhorn because a kind guy, his first visit, said he was too tall to sit in front and she wouldn’t be able to see sitting behind him ✅ Prode space mountain for the first time and huffed that it wasn’t scary and it was no IncrediCoaster.
