So I went to the doctor last week and had some blood work done. Luckily my Thyroid, blood sugars and "good cholesterol" are all okay. This past Monday the doctor called me and told me that I had high "bad cholesterol." I have a score of 124 when it should be below 100. He basically told me to watch what I eat and exercise more. I have been doing a ton of research this week and have started to eat healthy. I found this really cool website from the USDA that helps a person find out what they should be eating. You should check it out and make sure you on the right track. It's called My Pryamid. Basically you built a chart according to your age, sex, height, weight and amount of physical activity you do. If you want to loose weight you can change the amount of calories you eat each day. I found the site to be most helpful and I hope to use it a lot as I try and get more healthy.
