Rebe, Mo & Trinity Kick It in LA

One of my old roommates, Rebe, her husband and her little daughter came over to our house Friday night. They were in town visiting from Texas. We hosted a little party at our house with some of her good friends from the LA area. It was a fun evening that went into the wee hours of the morning! We even were graced by the presence of a movie star!! Yep, DJ Qualls, that nerdy guy from ROAD TRIP and HUSTLE AND FLOW came to our house. He was a friend of one of Rebe's filmmaker friends. I was outside and the hub called me over and asked if I recognized the guy. "Recognize the guy?" I say. "I only made a movie poster of him for Road Trip" I replied. I asked my hubby if it would be rude if I pulled the movie poster out of the garage and ask him to sign it. Although he encouraged me to do so...it probably wouldn't be the best thing I later thought. It was good to visit with Rebe and meet her little daughter, Trinity which is her third child. Trinity was so adorable. Regul and Jefe, the birthday twins, came over and even hatched a plan for their co-birthday part next year (since their birthday's are a day apart and they always celebrate on the same weekend day...they sat down and hatched a plan so we didn't have to choose between them each year). The night was fun. We made smores had snacks and discovered that when you run out of Hershey's chocolate for smores, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups make a good substitution and the peanut butter adds to the tasty-ness of the smore.

I have loved movies and worked in movies and I consider myself knowledgable about movies but I have no idea what this whole Twilight craze is all about. Do you? Summer DVD GIveaway Part 1

Win some DVD's. I have 5 titles and 3 copies of each to give away!!! Each DVD title was released within this past year from my studio EDIT: Ok Toby, in an effort to make people work for the prizes I will amend the rules a bit.
