A Very Mickey Halloween Party

This was our second year attending Disneyland's special Halloween party. It's a separate ticket but it is totally worth it as an added expense. Last year we were so intent on trick or treating that we missed some of the characters. The characters that come out for the party are all more of the rare Disney characters that you don't typically see throughout the year at Disneyland. So for those of us that like to collect photos and autographs this is really a great time to attend to get all those hard to find pictures with your favorite villains. As if the characters are enough there is the candy. To say they give you a lot of candy is a major understatement! Between the three of us ho weren't trying very hard to collect candy and wemust have gotten 20-25pounds of candy. It was enough for us to give all it away to The Girl's school for their Halloween parade. They also have special treats to buy and the entire park is decked out in Halloween gear. It one wo...

Blue Apron Meal #2

Blue Apron Dinner #2 was so stinkin' good! Spiced Meatballs with Garlic Toast and Summer Squash Salad. I usually see cooking as a chore but I have to say, they've made it easy and fun and I'm actually looking forward to dinner time! Love using a variety of ingredients. I feel like I'm actually learning how to cook! And the best thing is no waste.

D23 Expo - Day 2

So we drove back down to Anaheim this time with Miss P and we spent our second day at the Disney Expo exploring the first floor. With D23 becoming increasingly busy, like Comic Con in San Diego, we weren't going to kid ourselves and wait hours in line for the various panels. Instead we had fun visiting booths and taking pictures with displays. We got a bunch of freebies, had lunch at The Grilled Cheese Truck, and had fun with cosplayers. Here are a few pictures from day 2 of the convention. As I was leaving the convention on Saturday evening a man in a wheelchair stopped me. He said he had no use for his posters and asked if I would like them. That is when he revealed he had a Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Jungle Book limited edition posters they had given out in the panel I really wanted to go to that morning. I love posters so his jester was so amazing and made my day! Another bit of Disney Magic!
