Ramblings of a Crazy Woman

It is with a heavy, broken heart 💔 that I announce Moses has passed away today.  He was 14 years old. He leaves behind 3 human caretakers, who never knew that one of the greatest loves of their lives would be a kind and gentle 4-legged soul with a big warm smile and the brownest eyes.  We met Moses 12 years ago. He was a rescue. They hadn’t gone in that day to get him. They saw him being beat up in the corner by other dogs.  So they took him with the others they saved that day. He was a bit, okay a lot, hairier than we expected but his rescuers must have saw something in hubs and I as they called us the next day and asked when we would pick him up 🙂.  Adding him to our family would be the best decision of our lives. He had a knack for meeting people in our neighborhood. He introduced us to so many people. Friendships were formed because of his gentle manner. Moses was loved by all who met him. He even coaxed a nervous kitchen contractor, who was afraid of dogs into...

Happy 8th Birthday to the 4th Musketeer!! You have increased our happiness 1 million fold!! We absolutely love and adore you MOSES!

Moses and I's better half ditch us for Disneyland again with the girl, so we are doing what every mother and fur-baby do...eating pizza and sipping cocktails and watching trashy soap operas. Mo is stunned by the recent events on the Bold and the Beautiful.

So I went to take a shower and when I got out what should I find? I found that someone,two someone's went into the treat drawer and pulled out the ore's and proceeded to help themselves to some cookies. Not only that these two thieves ate only the cream filling inside the cookie. They left the chocolate wafer on the floor. Here is evidence of their crime.

There is a rush to get to bed in our household these days! It used to be that Moses would follow either hubby or I to bed but if we stay up too late Moses will get up and go into our bedroom and go to sleep. The problem is.....you might not have a place to sleep yourself when you get tired!! CAPTION: There is a new boss in town and his name is Moses. "Um, excuse me Moses, that is Mother's side." Somebody is completely spoiled! Is the pillow fluffy enough for you!

...Since we adopted the best dog ever, Moses! Happy Birthday (3 years old) and Happy Anniversary Moses! We love and adore you and can't imagine life without you. Thank you for all the love, good times and companionship!

We are so bummed Moses can't come with us to Hawaii so hubby made this Moses cache we are going to take with us and hopefully our Moses will get to travel the islands more than we do!!

Has this been the longest week ever or what?? Anyhow, I am so glad it's weekend time. I can put the Blackberry down and totally chill. The top thing on my mind for this weekend is sleep. I am so looking forward to sleeping in. I seriously hope Moses is in the mood too or my plans could easily be destroyed. Speaking of MoMo, he hasn't been feeling good this week. The poor little guy is itching all over. No fleas just itching. Anyone got any ideas or solutions as to how I can stop this? I am thinking he has allergies because the same thing happened last summer. We sprayed him with "Neem" which is highly recommended by this pet supply store but other then smelling like orange blossoms I get the distinct feeling it doesn't work cuz, he is still scratching.
